Shaun Alderman

Hi, my name is Shaun Alderman, I am the founder of Edinburgh Music Scene Live. I was born in Shetland and lived there until I was 18. This is where I discovered my love for music, and I am a multi instrumentalist, playing bass, mandolin, banjo and fiddle. Since moving to Edinburgh in 2015 I have studied music to BA level and been a member of the Edinburgh rock band Gypsy Circus since 2017. I have played with Gypsy Circus and folk duo Shaun and Iwan all over Scotland including King Tuts Wah Wah hut, The Mash House and at the world renowned Shetland folk festival. I have also played the fiddle in two Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoos with Hjaltibonhoga. My love for music and especially live music continues to  grow.
